Irene Esther Bartole
Irene Esther Bartole (Dreger) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7th, 2022, the morning of her 90th birthday. A farmer, homemaker, mom, loving grandma and great-grandmother, lover of her garden patch, choir member, crafter, baker and a really good cook as well, Irene was a devout member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, and appreciated nature and music.
Irene will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Jake.
Left to tell the stories, plant the gardens, listen to the music, gather the families and cook the dinners are her children: Paula, Ellen, Carolyn, Donald, and Valerie; grandchildren: Robyn, Jonathon, Tyler, Kristin, Amber, Theo, Sean, Kyle and Kelli; spouses and partners; and many great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 14th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 15 Paul Drive (just off 9th Ave NW). Reverend Jason Schultz will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations in Irene’s name may be to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 15 Paul Dr, Moose Jaw SK S6H 4R3 or a charity of one’s choice. To the girls and Donny, our family is saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. Dad has lots of good memories of her as well. I always liked her and thought she was a fantastic woman. I am sure she will be missed greatly.. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
