Boorman, Chris “ROCKY”
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our brother Rocky on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at the young age of 62 years. Rocky is survived by his brothers, Terry (Marina), John and Jim (Dana); nephews: Layne, Riley and Ronnie; nieces: Franky, Samantha and Terrina; great-nieces, Ivalyn and Lennyn; as well as Darlene and the LaRose family. Rocky was predeceased by his parents, Marge Hurtig (Boorman) and Ron Boorman.
Rocky has touched the lives of not only his family but also hundreds, if not thousands of others with his crazy genuine character. Although the Boorman family cannot put their loss into words, they can look up and smile knowing Rocky is back in the arms of his/our mother Marge. He truly was one of the kindest men you’ll ever meet.
Friends and relatives can join us in celebrating Rocky’s life on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with coffee to follow at the Heritage Inn, 1590 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK. A Funeral Processional Ride in Rocky’s honour will leave the Southland Mall on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. with kickstands up at noon. All riders welcome. I met you in Saskatoon when you were 16 years old and I was 18. My friends and I hung out with you and your brothers John and Terry. We had the best of times at Yips and Jacks on 2nd Ave, Saskatoon. You were like my little brother with such a kind and generaous heart. I would recognize those eyes anywhere. My best friend Margaret had a crush on you but she would never tell you but I think you always knew it. You are truly missed. Condolences to the family.
