Melissa Dawn Lyle

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Melissa Dawn Lyle (née: Lowenberg) on Friday, February 26th, 2021 at the age of 44 years.  After a strong and hard battle, she now can rest.  She was predeceased by her dad, Grant Lowenberg (2018).  Melissa will be lovingly missed by her mom, Darlene; children: Katelyn (Jarrod), Jenna, and Connor; grandson, Ryker; boyfriend, Terry Ross; brother, Jason; sister, Leahanne; and her fur babies: Bruin, Gazzy and Diezel.

Melissa had a love for spending time outdoors, whether it be ice fishing, gardening or planting her flowers.  Rider games, Warrior games, listening to music, or even getting the odd tattoo were just a few of her passions in life.  Melissa continued her love for outdoors when she took on her career with Parks and Recreation at Buffalo Pound Lake as a maintenance worker.  Her work days were spent more with her showing her love to the animals outdoors.  Although her greatest love was spending time with her kids, most of her weekends were spent with Ryker as often as she could.  Melissa fought her battle strong till the end and will be forever missed so much.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Melissa’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Andrew Pratt Funeral Director 306-693-4550
