Lyle Rae Harrison
May 15th, 1957 – July 13th, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the peaceful passing of Lyle Rae Harrison, aged 63 years of Moose Jaw, SK after losing his courageous battle with cancer. Lyle was born in Moose Jaw, where he lived the majority of his life. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed sharing it. His passions in life were fishing and the outdoors, and of course off-roading on country roads. He was predeceased by his father, Ed Harrison Sr.; and brother, Gary. Lyle is survived by his son, Darcy Lucas of BC; mother, Shirley; siblings: Ed Harrison Jr. (Denise), Lila Elaschuk (Mike), Ken Harrison, and Gloria Ponto (Byron). He will be dearly missed. The family would especially like to thank Brent for his caring, kindness and friendship towards Lyle. In keeping with Lyle’s wishes, no Funeral Service will be held at this time. Gone Fishing! Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Lyle’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Deepest sympathy to the Harrison family, Lyle was a great guy. Lyle, Bob and myself were like the three musketeers back in the day. Sad news.
My deepest sympathy to the Harrison family, Lyle was a good trusted friend. Years would go by sometimes before I would see him. When we got together he always brought a big smile to my face and made it feel like yesterday. He will be sadly and fondly remembered and missed, I’ll have a couple for him today.
So very sorry to hear of Lyle’s passing. Lyle was always a fun person to be around, he had such a keen humor and his laugh was infectious. Many good memories of him as we had many, many adventures in and around Moose Jaw and British Columbia. Rest in Peace old friend, my condolences to Lila, Ken and the entire Harrison family.
